How To Turn off / disable the Startup Sound in Windows 7

Startup sound is sound or noise that sounds when you turn on the computer immediately after the successful entry into the Operating System.
In Windows 7 to disable the startup sound follow these steps:

Go to Control Panel (Click Start Menu -> click Control Panel)
Select Hardware and Sound (View By Category)

Click on Change system sounds

Remove the Checklist (not checked) on the Play Windows Startup Sound

Click Apply, click OK
